Meet Ryan and Leah Shepard. They are the busy the proud parents of two children, Finn and Reece. Ryan serves the City of Arlington as a first responder and Leah enjoys making their house a home. The Shepards have always dreamed of starting a business together that would bring value to people’s homes by providing excellent craftsmanship and quality materials. Ryan and Leah began Shep’s fencing company in 2017 and have built a great team together. They’ve expanded the business to provide pergolas, decks, Catios (yes, that’s a patio for cats), and creative outdoor spaces. Ryan has served with the Arlington Fire department since 1999 and continues to serve the city while Leah runs the day to day business at Shep’s.

Ryan and Leah Shepard met and married in North Texas in 2005. They began their family with the arrival of their son, Finn in 2006 and then their daughter Reece in 2007. Wrestling matches and gymnastic meets keep them very busy!

When they aren’t building projects, you will find the Shepard family hosting kids and teenagers at their home, cheering on their community by supporting AISD and their church through service projects and sports.
